About the event
This Chanting & Mantra workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and those with some experience. No singing ability required! Chanting is an act of meditation and service.

Discover a deep sense of tranquility and calm, connect with the soothing vibrations of sacred mantras. Clearing the mind and enhancing focus and dropping into a flow state through mantra chanting, perfect for reducing stress and anxiety. Through recitation or chanting harness Prana, the life force energy, for healing purposes. Mantra chanting offers physical benefits such as relaxation, decreased heart rate, detoxification of the body, modulation of brain waves, and enhancement of breathing patterns, fostering a sense of peace.
Meet Your Facilitator
Mamata Patil (she/her) - Mamata is a Meditation and Breathwork Practitioner, Career and Leadership coach, trained in Trauma-informed coaching practices aimed at overcoming Imposter Syndrome, fears, and challenges. Her coaching style is deeply holistic, reflecting her commitment to guiding individuals towards their fullest potential. Growing up in a profoundly spiritual family rooted in Shiva worship, Mamata discovered the transformative power of mantra chanting early in life, setting her on a lifelong journey of spiritual attunement. Inspired by Ramakrishna Paramahamsa's non-dualistic philosophy, she has dedicated herself to personal development since the age of five. Now, as a leader in Mantra Chanting workshops, Mamata blends ancient wisdom with modern insights to help others on their paths of spiritual growth and self-discovery.
Location
This event will take place outside in the sun! Search for directions to the Hadden Park Public Washroom, there's a short path behind it and we'll be on the grass in front of the path.
Please try to arrive 10 minutes early for a prompt start.
Things to bring
Please bring a water bottle and something to sit on such as a blanket or meditation cushion.
